Just last week separates us from the start of 40th Rally Košice. Organizers today published a list of subscribed, which includes 137 competitors crews from Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland.
It seems that the number of crews at the 40th Rally Košice for the fourth time in the history of the rally crosses the magical 100! The competition is in fact enrolled 137 crews, including 72 in the FIA Central European Zone, Championship Championship Slovakia and Hungary, 15 in the Slovak Rally Cup, 48 in Hungarian Rallye2 and 2 crew to rally school. The list contains several names of former Slovak or Hungarian champions, but because of a collision term with the Polish Rally Wisla, it lacks the actual leading crew of Slovak championship Grzegorz Grzyb.
With the starting number 1, viewers can look forward to see Josef Béreš jun., Zoltán Repast with their novelty this season, Mini Countryman RRC. Will be followed by crew that currently leads the order of the Hungarian championship Miklós Kazár - Tamás Szőke at Ford Fiesta R5. A similar car with the starting number 3 is a Czech crew Tomáš Kostka - Miroslav Houšť's starting for Slovak Rufa Sport. Fans of French carmaker Peugeot will definitely like to see model 208 T16, which should bring in Kosice Frigyes Turan and Gábor Zsíros. Many will delight the young Slovak talent Martin Kochi, who in the busy schedule of world rally took the time to domestic competition. Styllex Slovak National Team driver will kick off with his co-driver Lukas Kostka on the vehicle Citroen DS3 R3T. We do not have to hunt far and we find a list of other known crew as Igor Drotár - Vlado Bánoci, András Hadik - Krisztián Kertész, Tomáš Kukučka - Marek Podobník, Tibor Cserhalmi - Peter Vejačka or both PEVA Racing crew Mozner - Vejačková and Habermann - Mozner on their beautiful Porsche 911 and many others whose names you can read in the full list.
We have already published the first regulations and communication that we give to the attention of all competitors. Already on Monday, September 1 the organizers will "reveal" timetable speed tests and soon track map. All information can be found on the official website of the organizer www.rallye.sk/rallye.
