Only two weeks remain until the start of the fifth race of the calendar of Slovak Rally Championship 2015 and the 41st Rally Košice. It means that last days separate us from the closing date for entries and the publication of the entry lists!
To mid-August, Auto Club Košice have prepared the demanding two-stage Rally Košice. Even in this year, rally will not miss foreign crew, as the competition is included in the FIA Central Europe Zone Championship, Slovak Rally Championship, Hungarian Rally Championship, Slovak Historic Rally Championship, Hungarian Rallye2 Championship and Slovak Rally Cup.
Rally season is slowly coming to its end and in the general classification is not yet decided about anything, which means that fans can look forward to a duels in fighting for the title of champion in these championships. On the tracks we will see many familiar names - so far have their applications sent Grzegorz Grzyb, Jozef Beres, Igor Drotar, Pavel Valoušek. We are also looking forward for the whole of Hungarian top crews.
This season, the whole Headquarters moved to the background of the company Tempus on Rastislavova Street. The new location will have also starting podium, at the front of the shopping center Optima Atrium, where the organizers have prepared an interesting show for the audience and media. Ceremonial start will be connected with zone for media and spectators. In the zone will be created area for representatives of the media to "confess" crew, as well as for signing the rally crew, which fans will be able to meet, plus take a picture with your favorite race car driver.
Competition days will be 15th to 16th August, weekend days, during which crews will travel a total track length of 538.6 km, of which 139.7 km consists of 11 special stages. Absolute winners and winners of each class will be announced and awarded at the finish ramp in front of OC Optima Atrium on Sunday at 15:40 pm.
Members of media please note the accreditation closure, which is set to Monday, August 10. Holders of yearlong accreditation must also notify their participation till the accreditation deadline. The accreditation conditions and forms are available on the official website of the organizer www.kosice.rallye.sk
With the approaching of date of the competition, rapidly also approaching the deadline to apply with reduced deposit which is already this Friday, July 31! The overall deadline is Monday, August 3, when will be published also itinerary.
