Remember the 90s of the last century and a favorite Rally Kosice. 42nd košickej rally is ripe for special stages from twenty and forty years ago.
It is less than one month left before the start of the final competition of the Slovak Rally Championship 2016 calendar. 42. Rally Košice will open its "gates" on 8 and 11 September - competitive crews and their enthusiasts will welcome the routes known from the past. After all, special stage Stos, which is scheduled on Saturday, during the Leg 1, was included in the program of Rally Košice forty years ago, and special stage Uhorná or street circuit in Roznava has so far not been in this competition! The idea of the Auto Klub Košice to move on one day to Roznava, met with great interest in this city and also because of that the Rally Košice with the support of the city of Kosice, will also have support of the city of Roznava. On Sunday they are scheduled more or less known domestic stages to southeast of Kosice. Kosice traditional RS Herľany, RS Regeta and after many years again challenging RS Skároš.
Change in the program Rally Košice will place the start ceremony of welcoming the crews and prices giving ceremony. The city of Košice by obtaining the title of "European City of Sport" planned for the weekend 10th-11th August at the main street rich program, so the ceremony will be held in the space between Double Tree by Hilton and shopping center Dargov. Competition crew will be there presented on Friday prior to the start of competition from 18 hours.
Entry list slowly begins to be fulfilled. Rally Košice is included this year in the FIA Central European Zone, the Slovak Rally Championship, the Slovak Historic Rally Championship, the Hungarian Rally Championship, Hungarian Rally Challenge and Slovak Rally Cup. Because of this, the list contains the names of not only Slovakians but also those of Hungary and other central European countries. We can mention, for example, a crew Jozsef Trencsényi - Gábor Verba and Ákos Tabori - Attila Nagy. Of Slovaks are already between registered Igor Drotar with Robert Muller, Tomas Kukučka with Peter Vejacka or Peter Gavlák with Emil Horniaček. Deadline is already this Friday, August 26, 2016.
