The 2017 season calendar of the Slovak Championship in the rallye will be closed by the popular Rally Košice. Its already 43rd edition organizers from the Košice Auto Club plan to 20th - 22nd October.
The seven parts calendar of the Slovak Championship will close the two-stage Rally Košice. The competition is included in the Central European Zone FIA Championship, the Slovak Rally Championship, the Slovak Historic Car Championship, the Slovak Rally Cup and the Rally Legend.
43. The Košice Rally will be acquainted not only with the interesting tracks with new sections, but also with the new premises of the Headquarters and Service Parking, which will be located at the premises of the Technical Inspection Station on the street Pri Prachárni 20 in Košice, belonging to company Stateko. Here, from Friday, the most important tasks, such as administrative and technical check will take place.
Program of 43. The Košice Rally will start at 12 o'clock on Saturday by the exit of the first competition vehicle from the service park. For that day is planned the first stage with a total track length of 299.75 kilometers, of which 71.25 meters will consist of six special stages on two tracks. On Sunday the crews of the Slovak rally cup will be added to the competition field. Together, they will do 225.2 kilometers on six more special stages with length of 69.5 kilometers. Both stages are judged individually in the Slovak Championship, which means two times points to the year's rating. Even for the crews of the Slovak rally cup this competition is extremely important because they complete the Sunday round and their points are doubled.
The organizers, six weeks before the start, posted on the official website kosice.rallye.sk the most important document, which is Special Provisions, and also launched the registration on the sams-asn.sk/prihlaska page. Deadline for submissions is 8 October.
