Košice Styllex Motorsport team will delight their fans by participating at a home rally. This weekend 10 to 11 September to rebound from the world competitions to 42. Rally Košice.
Slovak Rally Championship 2016 is in its final and thanks to a fissure in the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) will attend the Styllex motorsport team composed of Martin Koči and Lukáš Kostka. On a competing car Citroen DS3 R3T of workshops Gecko Racing will carry the starting number 14. This number is interesting in that crew is on the 14th place in the ratings of Slovakia championship despite the fact that competed only one competition of this championship. Domestic competition is however, not to be missed. "The Rally Košice, we decided to take off mainly due to the fact that it is a home race for me and for our team Styllex motorsport. It is very pleasant to show up and at home, but I must admit that this is in many ways much more difficult than other races. Allready looking forward to Košice and I believe you will enjoy racing and we give quality performance, " told Martin Kochi.
Crew Martin and Lukas this year already completed four rounds of the world competitions, from which they took two second places. Starts in Poland and Finland didnt go well, so in the interim evaluation of the junior championship ranks fifth. Home Rally Košice will be for the crew nothing new, just the opposite. Martin starts on Košice routes three times and each time was one of the Slovak elite. At 40th edition together with Lukáš even become the fastest home crew.
Kosice rally this year met with great enthusiasm in Rožňava district and just because that the route of the first day will mainly be located around Roznava. These special stages are not for Martin as known, but it will be very interesting course therefore. "The route of the first day I do not know. Special stages Stos, Uhorná and even circuit stage in Roznava, I never did attend with the rally car. But it is for me the greater challenge and I am very pleased that the organizer has made such a change. Sunday stages are a little more familiar to me, although Skároš and Regeta I do not remember very well. Near Herľany we have weekend house, so only those I know by memory ", summed Košice driver.
42. Rally Košice consists of two competition days, which are assessed separately in the Slovak championship.The organizers prepared a six special stages on the three routes for Saturday and seven special stages on the other three routes for Sunday. Entry list contains up to 107 competing crews. The first one will start in the first spacial stege on Saturday before 2PM.
